Team India is in a terrific form in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 with a second major win over the formidable Australians. India beat Australia by 36 runs. Australia was all out on the last ball of the game. This is a great start for India in the prestigious cricket tournament. Earlier, India had beaten South Africa by 6 wickets in its opening world cup match at Southampton, on a pitch that had a lot to offer to the bowlers.
Overall, there are ten teams competing in the cricket world cup 2019 including England, India, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. India, England, New Zealandand defending Champions Australia are the World Cup title favourites. However, West Indies with their splendid world cup show are not far behind.
In total, Cricket World Cup 2019 will have 48 matches, of which 45 will be in the group stage. Each of the ten teams would be playing nine group stage matches, among which, the top four will progress to the semi-finals. The much-awaited India vs Pakistan match will be held on June 16 at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
